Walk down Sinheung-ro and you pass dozens of multi-family homes that were split, stacked and re-split over the decades. A renovation usually replaced the tiles and the wallpaper — not the drain lines buried in the walls. What that means day to day:

• The clog that keeps coming back. If your shower drain slows down every few months, snaking the last meter is a band-aid. The real buildup usually sits deeper in the shared stack, and clearing it properly — sometimes with a camera check to confirm — is what makes the problem actually stop.
